Hamed Ferdani graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Benghazi in 1998. In 2007, he was awarded an MSc. in Concrete Engineering at the University of Sheffield.
In 2011 he was granted a scholarship from the Libyan government which he used to join the University of Sheffield in April 2012 to study for a PhD.
