9th International Conference on Advanced Composites in Construction

Advanced Composites in Construction returns for its 9th edition in 2019, focusing on current topics within the construction industry with the purpose of highlighting the use of fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composite materials in new and existing all-FRP structures as well as strengthening, refurbishment and reinforcement applications in traditional infrastructure.

This 3 day conference attracts practicing engineers, asset managers, researchers and representatives of regulatory bodies and promotes an active exchange of scientific and technical information on the rapidly changing scene of advanced composites in construction.

ECR Poster Competition

ACIC is keen to develop awareness among young engineers of the importance and potential of research in composites in construction and is providing yet another invaluable opportunity to early stage researchers working in the field, to showcase their work. ECR 2019 is aimed at the next generation of structural engineers & provides a unique platform for research students to discuss and exchange ideas with their peers and engage with key academic and industry leaders.
