David Escolano is a Marie Curie individual fellow of the Department of Civil and Structural Engineering of the University of Sheffield. He has more than 8 years of research experience in the field of earthquake engineering, reinforced concrete structures and passive control systems.
He has participated in several research and engineering projects in Europe and the US. He is currently developing, under the supervision of Dr Guadagnini, the project “Seismic-Resistant Highly Deformable Structures” funded by the H2020 Marie-Slodovska Curie Programme.
David has a Bachelor in Architecture, a Masters Degree in Structural Engineering and a PhD in Structural Engineering from University of Granada.
