NGCC Young Researchers’ Competition 2011 (YRC2011)
The Network Group for Composites in Construction (NGCC) is keen to develop awareness among young engineers of the importance and potential of research in FRP advancing structural engineering. YRC2011, held during Advanced Composites in Construction (ACIC) Conference 2011, provided a unique platform for research students to present their work and exchange ideas with their peers and key academic and industry leaders. Young researchers were invited to apply to NGCC to present at YRC2011 by submitting a short project synopsis. The ACIC2011 national organising committee then selected and invited particular applicants to present their research during a special poster session at ACIC2011.
